Who better to show us how to do a simple blazer/coat combo with pants, minimal makeup and no fuss hair than the women of Paris Vogue?
It’s funny how growing up in the deserts of Arizona made me rebel against anything that hinted of turquoise, feathers or southwest inspired style. It’s also interesting that just as fashion has jumped on board from Americana inspired heritage brands into full blown adaptations of Native American garb; I’ve also come to not only appreciate, but love the beauty that originates in the American southwest. Everything from the sunrises/sunsets to the dream catchers to the tumbleweeds seems so romantic right now.
Leave it to Emmanuelle Alt to capture this concept in high fashion.
