The only dress really worth mentioning: Gwyneth Paltrow’s by Tom Ford
Watched L’amour Fou at The Paris Theater (my favorite theater in the city) last night. So beautifully done and so sad. It was amazing to see all the spectacular art that Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Berge had collected over 20 years, but disturbing to see it all split up. More saddening then that though was that Yves never seemed to have found happiness and contentment despite his fame, success and ongoing legacy. It was great to hear Pierre Berge speak about Yves because I’m reading The Beautiful Fall (a must read!) and he is not always portrayed as the most tender hearted person in the book.
Narrowed down the amazing show of fashion talent at the Costume Institute Gala to some of my favorite looks.
Thankful I’m just across the park from the beautiful Alexander McQueen exhibit “Savage Art,” May 4th-July31st at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
